I know favites are naughty to other corals but how do they play with each other. I have a beautiful bicolor war favites currently in a good spot. I recently bought a JF dayglo frag that I would like to put close to it to minimize agression else where. Both are listed as favites pentagona. Would they be safe to put next to each other?

Does anyone have any experience with these two loving or hating each other?

Bump.

I was going to have them around 4” from each other with nothing between them.

I also have a cyphstera that will some war coral war action at some point. Will it just sting back the encroaching edges or kill the whole coral? It has close to 5-6” before they would ever get close to touching.

Hard to say, I've had corals sting eachother where it just kept the other coral at bay while others completely died.
Was wondering this as well. I would assume as a reef fills in some level of coral warfare is to be expected. My wonder is if they will just continue to fight, causing constant stress on them or will the fight just result one or the other conceding and growing in another direction.
