favorite AC return pump

Hi all. I have a Red Sea reefer 625XXL en route. They're recommending 1600gph pump. I am not sure I want to run 10x through the sump, but regardless, what's you're favorite AC return?

I am not sold on D.C. pumps for returns due to lack of reliability. I don't need any fancy feed mode or adjustable flow etc. Just want an energy efficient return pump that will last.

I am currently using a mag5 in my 75 gal display and LOVE it, but the mag12 and 18 are energy hogs.

As of now I am leaning toward the eheim 1262. What say you???

I like Lifeguard, Mag and Eheim...Tunze and Sicce...Hagan/Fluval....am I forgetting any?

Use your favorite and you can even forget about power numbers for the most part. A reduction in pump power correlates to an increase of heater power in most cases.

If you are in the other boat, then cooling could be your main concern vs heating....if that's the case and/or if you're paying A LOT more than 10¢ for power then low-power gear can make some sense!
