Favorite category of LPS?

Mine would have to be favias! Chalice corals running right behind in second. But favias for me because they come in so many bold colors. They’re extremely hardy, ferocious eaters and can adapt to various lighting conditions.

Favia for me. Hammers a close second. I also think Caulastrea are underrated. I will be honest that I never understood the appeal of Chalices. Just my opinion of course.

An acquired taste I guess..Lol but yes there are some really pretty cool LPS that never get the respect they deserve and Caulastrea is one of them. I think a neon green trumpet is a beautiful coral!

Acans all the way; it's the only LPS that I sometimes will choose over SPS.

Blastomussa have a special place in ny heart, mainly because they come in just about every color combo possible, and for some reason they seem to really like my system and grow like weeds for me.
But my true favorite is one that i really struggle to keep.... The mesmerizing movement of euphyllia was what originally got me into coral. Regretably tho, i have had near zero luck keeping them long term. If i can ever get my system to support euphyllia i would love to start a Torch garden.
