Favorite clown/clown pairs

Still getting my feet wet here and have yet to add a clown pair to my tank. But, I wanted to hear what everyone's favorite clown is and/or favorite clown pair to have in their reef tank.

Ocellaris are my favorite. Not aggressive, beautiful, spawned in my tank, and look great in a green or blue anemone. I had a trio of them for a long time.

My favourite clownfish are from the tomato complexes. I have a tomato/ocellaris that have shown signs of pairing up. My display picture is of them.

I am looking at trying an ocellaris pair. I didn't realize you could keep 3 thats awesome!

I rescued mine they were tiny and living in the only tank they would be safe in a 2 gallon someone else was supposed to get them but that person did not come

Thanks! And yep, I really want to see if I could them to purposefully hybridize.

Clownfish hybrids do exist, but seems to be mostly accidental or wildcaught (in which case it was unclear how they came about). So yeah, would be cool to see actual interspecies mating and breeding going on.

Good luck!! When I get mine I hope they spawn. I plan on getting an orange ocellaris and a black ocellaris

yeah they were in there for a month It was pretty funny to see them reacting to be in my 20 gallon they must of thought it was huge

IMO, to get a trio or larger group, you may need to raise them together. A new one introduced to an existing pair is likely to be rejected.

I'd stick to pairs initially.

That makes sense. I am sticking with my plan to get one black and one orange ocellaris
