Favorite coral food/supplement/etc?

I have a 4th spot for a dosing pump and trying to figure out what to dose? I was thinking some form of aminos but wanted other people’s advice.

I dose acropower which is a form of amino. others use that 4th port as an ATO (to top off tank by adding a selected amount of water daily to make up for evaporative loss)

We have a separate ATO. Do you prefer Acropower over Reef Nutrition AB+ or reef roids?

I prefer A/B but acropower so much easier to use and does not require refrigeration. I love roids as far as a powdered food source.

Acropower is an amino supplement, which is broadcast dosed, and is not supposed to raise nutrient levels, while reef roids and (I believe) AB+ are generally spot fed and are phyto and brine shrip, mostly.

I really like the red sea a/b aminos, I have mine setup on a dosing pump, you could try the new ab+ that's both products in one bottle instead of two.

That stuff is supposed to be out for a week max unrefridgerated. How are you doing it?

I just started using it this week manually to see if I like it better than acropower. Do you ever shake the bottle. I noticed on the old stuff that you had to.

I don't shake it, but thought about installing an air line to mix it. I've been using mine in this way for about 4 months, seems to do ok, but I still need an airline in it.

I’ve been using Easy Reefs EasyBooster and sps evo, switching from acropower and it’s been great!
PE and growth have been awesome so far.

you don’t have to refrigerate and can put all together.

Local fish store combines all and doses daily without refrigeration. Red Sea came to his store and commented about how beautiful his tank was and he told them that he mixes all together in one container and doses. They said he couldn’t do that. He said, look at my tank!!

Few months later Red Sea came out with AB+...........
