Flipper Max without question. For those of you who don't have one. You can scrape the vertical corners of your tank - this is very difficult with a handheld scraper blade. Not getting your hands wet is simply a bonus.

Must must must have.

I also love my Julian's Thing for spot feeding the acans - despite its somewhat naughty of a name.
 
I have a Sunwinch motorized light lifter. Sadly when I looked them up before posting this I found out they have been discontinued. I'm not sure if they are still available on random sites or used. But essentially it is a pair of small electric winches controlled via remote. I ran across this when looking for an option to adjust the height of my lighting but the light lifters that are just a crank were not rated for the weight of my illumina fixture. I made a minor modification to the spools to directly mount the cables from the Vertex hanging kit.
