There are tons of very expensive and beautfiful fish that go for $1,000-$25,000
If you could choose just one or two, which would you choose?

I don’t think I’d ever be the one to pull the trigger on a fish more thank 1K. I’d buy gem tang and CSB etc, the only thing would be is convince the wife to let me pull the trigger. Almost got a CSB the last reef show we went to.

In that price range the only thing I could see spending that kind of money on would be a shark.

Gem tangs are $399 right now, today is the day!

I do not really have any favorites but a fish I've always wanted is a Bluegill Longfin (Plesiops Corallicola). I do not spend a lot of money currently for frags or fish (two in college) but if I was to splurge this could be the fish. Few years back I came across an advanced aquarist article on these and found them super interesting ever since.

I don’t think I have any. There are plenty of fish that exceed my ability or willingness to pay, but I would not consider any to be amongst my favorites. I would have said a gem tang when they were $3K, but not that they are now $500 ish.

My second pick would be a true black tang
