Hey I'm just trying to get an idea what is everyone's favorite fish and why! Preferable fish that are good for a 40 gallon tank!

Clowns & Anemone combo - hard to beat

Bicolor & Midas Blennys - tons of personality and fun to watch perch and poke around

If you have sand, Diamond Goby - tons of personality and very active

You certainly can. It may be that you have to move them when your anemone finds its place, but yeah, absolutely. I had an anemone in my old 90g and had plenty or corals.

Thanks everybody for sharing I enjoy seing everybody else's livestock, I hate reading the same old forums, they're usually very basic and all recommend the same 10 fish

Awesome is there any anemones that I need to steer clear from? Or are all anemonies pretty much equal as far as being a problem to corals?

Coral beauty is stunning angel and the safest with coral. I have one in a 40gal tank

My favorites are my 3 eels!!! But for tank size clowns. Love clowns. This is my storm pair I love! Stunning and so different than other clowns! :) also love blennies. Great for your tank size

I’ll add that one of my favorite things to happen and now watch in this hobby was when I came home 10 months after adding a bubble tip anemone and my clownfish had finally discovered it. one of the most fascinating things to watch in my opinion.

Absolutely. If they aren't happy they may move around a bit and sting corals en route.... but in my experience once they settle down they really don't roam too much.
