What is your favorite kit. I am out of reagent for the Red Sea Nitrate/Nitrite kit and wondered what I should replace it with. The RS Nitrate Pro looks interesting, but expensive. Need something to test low range nitrates from 0-2ppm.

Thanks

I went from salifert to red sea pro. I like it much better since there is a high and low range.

I used to use the Tetra Nitrate test kits for years on end without any problems. Now I just have my LFS test my water on occasion. They use an API test kit.

Red Sea pro is the best, imo, especially for low range. It gives a good ballpark for high range, but very accurate for low

I use the RSP for a detailed analysis. Otherwise just stick with the cheap API test kit as it will let you know if you have nitrates or not. Once you know you have nitrates, than get a better kit to test for a precise value if that is what you are searching for. I just like to know if I have signs of nitrates or not. Don't really care how precise it is...
