It seems blue wash LED is all the rage..

does anyone have a good source for “old school” lighting; T5 and metal halide ? Icecap pretty much exists solely in name these days, championlighting is not the same. It seems every shop online I find has 4-5 different Mh bulbs with limited pendants and ballasts etc. even t5 selection is limited. Hoping there’s still a few places out there that stock variety.

All my previous builds I always purchased my t5 fixture threw a hydroponics store it was a huge price cut compared to these big name company’s and worked the exact same way. Only reason I’m running a sunpower now is I got a steal on it.

So maybe I should check a grow outlet? Do they have fixtures in the 6x range, most grow lights I’ve seen usually have 4 bulbs ?

I would look into it, around here they sell 6 and 8 bulb units.

Do they do MH pendants as well? I know for growing they usually want HPS instead. Do they sell in brick and mortar or could I order online

I am unsure about the MH, but let me give the store a call tomorrow and I will get back to you on that. It was a local store by me.

I’m sure the reflectors for HPS can be used for MH, just needs a different ballast. So that’s a positive. But yeah if they have a website that would be awesome
