As I have said on another forum. I think I found my favorite tank cleaning tool. A bucket vacuum to conduct my water changes. This thing sucks up all the GHA that I have been battling. All I did was buy a mini attachment kit and made a long hose out of some tubing. The kit has a stiffer brush that works perfect. Just turn on vacuum and brush all of that unwanted GHA of of your rocks. I like the float on the vacuum that prevents water from shooting out of the exhaust.

I tried this with the bucket head but it didn't last long. Stopped sucking out water. And when it did, it only did about 4 g so had to change a lot to do 20 g change.

Yes it only does about 4 gallons. The biggest plus for me is it has strong enough suction to suck out the GHA while I’m cleaning so it doesn’t just spread all over the tank. I guess for larger tanks it
Is def more work for a water change but my tank is only 120 gallons. Even if o didn’t use for a water change I love it for the suction compared to a Python or to mention the attached brush.
