Which fish in your tank is your favorite? What makes it your favorite, looks, personality?

Which coral is your favorite?

My favorite fish(es) are my Female African Divided Leopard wrasse, this fish was the one who helped draw me into the salt side of things when I first saw one on RC. And my copperband butterfly, I first fell in love with this fish when I saw the one Bill had in his tank.

My favorite coral is a little harder for me to decide, there are quite a few that are dear to me, so I'll break it down into types.

SPS: Tyree Rogue Millie

Zoa: Rastas

LPS: Tyree Orangeaid Chalice, although my orange plate and new scoly are up there with it.

So, what are yours?

Man... that's a tough question...

My favorite fish were probably my mated pair of mandarins I had in my 45g (they both ate frozen). Those guys were awesome. Beautiful, full of personality, and always together. A very close second place would be tail spot blennys. They're gorgeous and, again, FULL of personality. Really fun to watch. I need to get another one. My last one disappeared. :rip:

As far as corals go, I really, really love the stupid colorful chalices. I don't own any yet, but I'm working on it. :)

And yes, the orangeaid chalice you have is AWESOME! I used to stare at it every time I went over to Josh's house till you bought it... lol

Mated mandarins would be sweet. Too bad insanely colored chalices are insanely priced.

+1 on the mandarin. As for corals I like mostly SPS so it's hard to pick one. I like the pearlberry, tri color valida, and most caps.

Fish - mandarin. It's nothing too fancy but I just love the way they all look.
Coral - JF Broken Arrow chalice

My favorite by far is my dot dash wrasse. Just a great personality always showing off its beautiful fins and very peaceful and active. My queen angel is a close second and I love the mandarin, aww heck I love all my livestock but the dot dash takes the cake as my favorite.

My favorite fish is my One Spot Foxface, he has nearly annihilated the bubble algae in my tank. The other fish in my tank have no personality other than being territorial jerks!

Favorite coral has to be my ORA Hawkins, just barely beating my ORA Pearlberry.

My favourite fish is my Powder Blue. He's a riot! Favourite coral was my Rainbow Monti that I recently lost, but I'm replacing as soon as possible.

My favorite fish is my mystery wrasse. *except when he chases the Lineatus*

My favorite coral is Pearlberry

Fish - Emperor Angel! Never owned one but will have one when the predator tank is opened up. >10 years away. LOL
As far as fish that I own - The Niger Trigger is by far my favorite. Full of personality and the way the fins wave when it swims is cool. My black combtooth blenny has a pretty funny personality as well and is fun to watch. Named him Bob because he sits in my monti cap and bobs his head up and down like he's jamming to music.

Favorite coral(s) are my trumpet/candy canes. They are super easy to grow and add a ton of color to my tank. It's a close tie between the Kryptonite CC and the "true" candy cane, as I call it, that has green centers with a red rim with white stripes.

I need to get a purple hammer from Vivid to complete my list of favorite/must have corals.

I dont know if you got to see my Emperor when I had him but I had him long enough to see him start changing patterns. He was awesome!!!

Mitch, I did get to see it early on and a few times to watch it start changing patterns. Very cool indeed!

This thread just makes me realize how awesome the creatures we get to keep are. My tank never ceases to amaze me. There are literally millions of living things in it. Neat.

One of my favoites is our Bluespot Goby. It has quite the personaility, loves playing peek a boo when it knows your looking at it. Spends a lot of time playing in the sand when he is not palling around with Snapper, our pistol shrimp. The shrimp is so named becasue he is always snapping at everything.

Have to say my Midas blenny. Love this guys personality and coloring.
