I bought one of these for one of my frag/isolation tanks since I was having trouble finding 6500K in 250W DE. The thing appears to be an output monster. Has anybody used any of their bulbs in any temperature? There are reviews on Amazon, but search did not find much on here or RC from actual reefers.

The light is a foot off of the water. Apogee 510 on the PAR meter

PAR Readings:
New 6500k: Surface 2500, Just Submerged 1950-2100, 8" Deep 950-1025
2 Year Old Phoenix: Surface 1600, Just Submerged 1000, 8" Deep 450-525

Good question.

Ok I have never used this bulb but I use xm 10k 250 watts . If your PAR readings are correct , that's insane PAR by any standard even more than my PAR monsters .
I get 400 at 18 inches deep in the water with a hanging height of 10 inches from one xm in a lunemarc reflector .
Question is how is the longevity and how long before spectrum shifts .
I might pick up one just to rest over my frag tank am setting up for wild pieces .

Regards,
Abhishek
