Hello fellow Mentors,

1)Wondering if these are indeed feather duster worms???

2)Also found a worm crawling on my live rock...

3)At night time if i look at the rocks i see tiny hairy red tentacles...Excuse me for all these questions, i am new to the hobby and wondering if these are good or bad to my reef tank.
I appreciate all your wisdom, advice and responses...

Thank you.

Pic #1 looks like micro feather dusters, #2 is a bristle worm. Neither are harmful as long as they don't become to plentiful. The feather duster is a filter feeder and the bristle worm is a scavenger that will eat left over fish food and decaying organic material. Be careful when you have your hands in the tank though. The bristle worm can sting you. Some are more sensitive to their sting than others.
BTW, nice aquascape.

#1 is Hydroids. Get them out.

#2 is an ordinary bristleworm. Don't touch it those bristles are irritating, but they're beneficial for the reef.

I don't have any idea about the red tentacles at night.
