Hi Reefer's, one head of my double headed duster was clipped off by a large emerald crab. it happened about 7 hours ago and I am not sure if the other head is still viable, it is retracted. has anyone ever had this happen to them, and do you think I should remove it so it doesn't foul the tank.
thank you

are you sure its dead? they drop their feathers like a lizard tail.. very likely its still alive.. and will regrown the feathers..

Just like sunken said, the worm itself is still probably fine, and with enough time it'll grow a new crown in no time! As with the Clipped Crown, yeah I would take that out just in case
