I recently purchased a feather Duster and it’s barely out of the tube. I wanted to know if this is a indicator that it is not happy and their is to much flow. If anyone has any tips or advice it be greatly appreciated.
I have seen them be shy for a while. They seem to prefer their body to be mostly hidden in the rock so they can attach. Make sure you feed it the appropriate phytoplankton!
The tank looks really new it might be adjusting. Like the previous poster stated try and wedge it further in the rock or burry it in the sand to where only an inch or two of the tube is showing. Feather dusters are filter feeders and do not get food from light so dose the tank with phytoplankton a few times a week and spot feed it with some phytoplankton every other day or so
