After searching the forum and google and hitting Lion Fish Lair's Hitchhiker Guide I feel confident this is a feather duster but since we have never seen one (in either tank ) of any color but white I thought I would double check with the experts. Thanks!

It will retract if bothered so just keep an eye out. If anything you relocate it but only if it's getting stung. I think it will be fine.

I love the Xmas tree worms they come in green, red, blue and your typical white.
I also found a red feather duster on one of my corals which that what this is and they're nice to look at.

I've had feather dusters move around the tank when they aren't happy so don't worry about the RBTA. Good looking duster, too!

Incase the OP doesn't know feather dusters are worms and that feather part is there anus/mouth.
They grab tiny particles in the water column. If you have a higher then normal nutrients tank then these worms will spread like crazy.
