Feather Duster in filter?

Hello,

soo I was doing a deep clean of my hang on back filter and noticed there were multiple feather dusters starting to grow in there haha.

Are they fine back there or should I try and remove them? I mean, they just clean the water don’t they?

Yep leave them be, they are doing their job back there and probably getting more flow/food particles there then they would in your tank

I don’t think they would be growing there if it wasn’t a suitable location for them to live. I would leave them there and not worry about it.
