Feather duster on my hermit crab?

If by good you mean not bad, then yes. Certainly won't hurt anything.

Odds are that its a vermetid snail. You'll start to see them all over your tank. They arent bad, unless they start to clog your pumps and pipes.

Any Vermetid Snails I‘ve seen on Snails are a Coiled tube, with the entire tube attached to the Snail Shell. Looks like a Small Feather Duster to me.
