Feather duster on my snail?

Added a new cuc today, and when I put the snails in I noticed something on one of them. It looks like a very very small feather duster, the color makes me think this.

sure looks like it to me! That's pretty cool, I've never seen them on snail shells before. I've had a couple hermit crabs that stole shells that feather dusters had started growing on, that was pretty cool
