I found these on the bottom of live rock that hasn't seen light for over 6 months. What are they?

good or bad?
I agree. Eh not great similar to Majano only they don’t spread nearly as much. Not a huge deal, may eat small things that get caught in it but I wouldn’t personally lose any sleep unless it was larger.

Most stay pretty small.

It is a large family and they can vary. Some spread and some disappear after a while do to lack of food. Others can catch and eat things in your aquarium.

Honestly I used to get them in on live rock and none ever were a issue. I have heard others have had issues with them catching stuff. To me they would have to be pretty large for that and all of the ones I have seen are pretty small. I have never had them spread.

So basically you have to decide if you want to risk it.

In my opinion I would get it out. They are not super pretty and they have a chance of being bad. So I just eliminate the possible issue.
