Any help with whatever this this is would be appreciated. Only just noticed it when the lights went off and I looked for some pods. During the day the acan covers it and it isn't visible.

Vermetid worm ?. You can scrub off of rock, superglue over them. Some wrasses will eat them. They filter feed and no harm
