Hey Guys,

I have a new pest in my tank I just noticed, and unfortunately there's no way on Earth that I would be able to get a picture of it, because they're so small. However, I can give the best description possible.

These guys are maybe about a centimeter or two long, and they are attached to my rocks. They have heads that look like the heads of feather dusters, and when I shine my light on them, they retract. Their bodies are bright white (ish), and are hooked on to the rock, their bodies sort of curl in a spiral.

Any help is appreciated!

Will

Sounds like feather dusters as you describe. I have a few in my tank and they won’t harm your tank. They’re filter feeders so are generally a good addition. A picture will definitely help though.

They're almost certainly spirorbid worms.
