Feather duster question?

Last night after lights out I noticed something different with a feather duster that I recently had gotten. When I had gotten the duster I am fairly sure that it only had one crown and one mouth. Now I can distinctly see two crowns each with it's own mouth in the same tube. It's this common to have two worms in the same tube? Did it clone itself our was there probably always two worms? Also should I expect one of the worms to leave the tube and make it's own? I have noticed at the top of the tube it is not as round as it first was but kind of looks pinched in the middle.

Not sure little bit of research I did last night before going to sleep found that some produce sexually and others asexually. From what I was reading they release gammets into the water column. Also saw a little about fission, or I am guessing cloning is the same but it seems as it is believed that happens fairly rarely.

Oh also the worms look like to be pretty much the same size.

Lets see some pics! I don't know much about these little guys. I have never had one just because they are IMO expensive locally

Picture would help, a lot of feather sisters have two crowns, but its still only one worm

Most of the feather dusters I've had look like that. They don't reproduce that way. They just have 2 stems coming out of their head. I've never heard of the larger Hawaiian duster reproducing in aquariums.

I don't have pics of my feather dusters but here is an old pic of my Coco Worm. I think this is what you're referring to?

Ya, like mine. But I've seen Hawaiian ones have two crowns one ontop of the other too

Pictures would definately help. I've never seen that but could be how they reproduce

I will try to get some pictures up, they are hiding in the tube right now after slightly moving the tube so that the crowns are facing towards the front. They were facing off to the side and difficult to get a good picture of the front of the crown.

Here are some pictures, really can't get a good angle showing the crown front on, but tried. Also came to mind might have helped if I turned off the powerheads while taking the pictures.

Yep, that's what mine looks like too. It's always looked like that and hasn't split or reproduced.
