Hello reef community, I recently got a Ricardo Yuma mushroom and on the plug there are a few feather duster worms hitch hikers on it. Should I break them off? Is it harmful for the corals it’s on? I have a few dusters on other coral plugs

Feather dusters are harmless. No need to break them off. Enjoy the diversity.
Awesome thank you. I believe I had read in a forum before someone telling another reefer if there are feather dusters to break it off with tweezers, so wanted to make sure what’s the case. Appreciate the help

You're welcome. They were probably thinking of vermetid snails. They live in a tube and a lot of people don't like them. There's no way to confuse the two though.
