Hey guys, anyone know what this is? Also, how to get rid of it? I don’t think it’s a danger to the tank but it growing fast and annoying my shrooms. I pulled some manually but it seems I didn’t make a dent.

Those feather dusters are going crazy! Never seen so many together

A sixline wrasse would make short work of them, adding one would depend on tank size and stocking though

Looks like colonial tube worms and you will need to starve them to stop them by directing water flow towards them, not at them and they will not be able to get food

Super interesting. They came from a shroom frag I moved from my other tank. I have a malanurus wrasse in that tank that I’ll move over in the next few weeks. He must have kept them in check because these things have exploded without him around. Maybe once I move him that will fix the problem.

My six line doesn't touch my feather duster so and I have a TON of the tiny ones.

Well then I’ll just keep going with tweezers and remove them. It’s not like they can swim away. It’s crazy how clumped together they get. I had to scrape a Frag plug to the ceramic to clean one off.

Sell them or trade for frags!
