I spotted this teeny tiny filter feeder looking thing on the skeleton of a bowerbanki frag. The total size of the fan must be 2-3 mm across and the tips fluoresce yellowish under actinic lighting. Just posting in case it's not at all what I think it is...

Its a tube wrm which uses its fan to capture food. You can break off tube at base, place a dab of gel superglue over the hole to rid of it
 
Picture isn’t very clear, but the hitchhiker might also be a colonial hydroid, which can go invasive (though I never had issues with them). Others have recommended gluing them shut.
