These just showed up in my nano reef or at least it's the first time I noticed them. They appear to be a tiny hard tubed feather duster that withdraw quickly if I hit them with a burst of light. The tubes are very small 1/4 inch at most, and the tops are red in color. My large peppermint shrimp took out my soft tubed feather duster, but seems to be ignoring these so far

could you get a picture facing the opening? does seem like a feather duster, but do not feel too confident with this response unless i see the front.

This is the best I could do. It's just starting to come out of the tube and the top is a blood red color. You can see the tube in the upper left part of the photo
