Title says it all. Body is a single color so I’m leaning towards feather duster, single grey tubing but it literally showed up overnight….

I’ve seen no activity from it yet, it’s body up close does look like a feathers tho which is weird I don’t wanna kill it if it’s a feather.
if you use a turkey baster (or something similar) to storm up a bunch of particulate you'll know right away. A vermetid will have its mucus net out quickly to grab food

It might be a small red feather duster ive seen them at one lfs i go to and they camp out in the substrate

So I went and poked it and the whole thing blew away in a single tube. I don’t have a picture cause it literally went floating into the current of my wave maker and is now mia.

yeah don't sound like a vermited since those are hard and sharp that might have been just the dusters tube you blew away , check back in a day or two and see if it spins a new one in the same spot.
