I agree with others who suggested it is a tube anemone (Cerianthus membranaceous). That is what it looks like to me.

I have one in my tank that has dark purple tentacles. Mine has a tube and a long body like your picture, though I have never seen its tube protrude so far out of the sand. It usually leaves the tube completely buried and extends its body out from the tube to open its tentacles.

You will have to decide if it is a good guy or a bad guy... they need a wide berth from other sessile creatures due to their stinging tentacles and the fact that the tube is made from sloughed stinging cells. Sometimes they leave the tube and wander. They are also known to eat small fish.
