So I'm trying figure out if this is safe to have my tank close to my TV. Does anyone have something similar. Would the 2 hydra 26 lights drown out the screen on TV?

I personally wouldn't do it just for the humidity/splash from the tank alone. The lights I think would be an issue also. It has been done successfully many times before though, I am sure.

Depends on if you plan to have a box of some kind around the lights. If you did you would be good to go. Otherwise I would no put it that close.

I’ve had a tv above my 180 for over a year with no humidity issues. The lights aren’t really a problem but I have a Durso drain so I have to turn the volume up louder than I like. It’s hard to see in the pic but there’s a 42” tv above the tank.

Edit: I do have a shelf between the tv and tank.

My fish room seems to develop a light covering of ‘salt dust’ on most things, so that’s my 2-cent-warning about having a TV so close. Best wishes!
