I was going to try shipping to a friend but when I looked up the cost, it was only giving me the 5 p.m shipping option. I couldn’t find the 10:30 am option anywhere. Could anyone please tell me why this is happening? Thank you.

If temperature’s a concern you could ask the customer if they would allow delivery to an authorized pick up center nearest to them. You could also call Fed Ex and have them verify all delivery options to the customers address, that would give you the most clarity.

Sent a snake once to a rural address with only option being afternoon. Not everyone lives in a city close to a hub for 10:30 am service.

Not every area has that option.

Best choice would be to have them set it for pickup at the hub. UPS my choice allows that.

I normally get my fish delivered in the evening because of how far out I live….do you know if your friend lives out on farm land?

just fyi and i don’t think this relates to you but some online stores will give you the option of holding the overnighted package at their (temperature controlled) facility for you to pick up. Doesn’t sit in a hot truck all day

Nvm, I figured it out. I entered the wrong address.
