I'm interested in setting up a 10g sump under my 29g tank and need some last minute feedback. My main goal since space is so limited is to have a refugium and a filter sock. I doubt I'll have a skimmer as I aim to have a small bioload. How does this look?

Looks similar to mine. I also have a 10g sump. If you find a filter sock small enough will you post it up? I can't find one that fits very well.

Wait for more opinions, Im no sump pro, but i think you could keep both baffles the same height.
And if you decide to use a skimmer look into the tunze ones. a 9001 is small and mounts with a magnet to the glass. Id stick it into the fuge area. it wont over skim ya, and it adds air. you can even add tubing if you need want to put the tube outside.
any of the tunze 9001 9002 should work.

@webbl19 some of the socks have a little clipy thingy inside them you can hang tie whatever to the inlet.

I will have to keep hunting. Planning on upgrading my sump to my old 20 gallon soon, so I will have more space. Learned what not to do when I made this one [emoji16], but it works. You will notice my pvc supports, the acrylic I used was to thin and bowed.

lol, same boat here. Im on sump 2.5.
And canopy 6:D. Six is really good though .

Actually I believe now my design will look something like this... Still has bubble traps and will not be a pain to assemble... Thoughts?
