Ok so this is what I’ve come up with for my tank. I plan on adding more to the top on the left with some rocks from my current tank.

The bottom of the blue tape is 14in. The water line will be at 19.5inch

This will be a mixed reef. LPS, SPS, zoas…..

So thoughts?

Looks good, I'm just not a fan of the steps.
Personally, I would have used them as the solid base of the rock.

I dislike the flat steps and the flat rocks on the right. They may be fine once filled in with corals, but until then it doesn’t look good IMO.

I know this is irrelevant it the purpose of this thread…but I have just got to say…you have an absolutely BEAUTIFUL tank!!!

IMO, I would leave 1/4" or more in the back away from the glass to aide in waterflow...otherwsie you will get deadspots...especially with all that awesome coral going in

Personally I think its going to look awesome once you move the coral in there, won't even see those steps!

I second making sure there's enough room along all sides of the glass (including the back) to clean / better flow etc,

So it’s hard to tell but I did try and keep all the rocks at least an inch away from the glass on the sides and the backs! Something i didn’t do in my first tank lol

I also am not a fan of the flat rocks, but I do like that structure. I would take a hammer and chisel and make those rocks look more natural.

The right and the left anywhere its flat, I'm not talking about shattering the rocks just taking chunks and layers off with the hammer & chisel.
