I got tired of the fish stealing the food from my tentacled plate at feeding time. I see where others have used a cut 2 liter bottle to make a feeding zone. But I found the bottle too light - it would float around and I would have to stand there while the coral "ate" to hold it in place. So I went to Walmart and bought a food grade plastic and stainless steel strainer and with a hacksaw cut off the handle. This protects the coral while it eats and allows light and some water flow. And it just sets on the bottom of the tank unattended. After each use it is rinsed with tap water and dried to avoid any corrosion over time. Works like a charm.

Great idea and even when it rusts, it's cheap/easy to replace.
