Feeding acropora ?

So I have my first ever acro, it is a PC rainbow, and thankfully still alive after 2 months. It did go through a rough patch while I figured out the whole dosing thing, but on the mend now. I target feed all my other corals a couple times a week. But I have noticed the acro doesn’t seem to spit. The polyps close up briefly when I do. So does anyone here target feed acro’s? And if so, what? I have read contradictory reports on this.

Reef roids or reef chili are both good

Nope. I don’t feed the coral at all. Fish poop is the best coral food.

Target feeding acros is not a great idea, mostly irritates them. Live phytoplankton and bacteria in the water column are what I go for.
