I introduced 2 clowns to my new tank yesterday. I've asked a sales person "what do you feed to them?" Mysis shrimp he said. I've bought the package of frozen mysis. Tried to feed clowns this morning and see them taking food in their mouse and spit it out. What to do?

I'm a total newb...but that just happened to me as well. Next time I took the cube and mixed it in a small dish with some tank water til dissolved. Then used one of my API tester suckers (cut the tip back a tiny bit) and sucked the food into it.

The clowns fed right out of the tester and ate it all! I was thinking maybe it was too cold or something before IDK...

Good luck..

yeah I did the same thing but they spit it out
The clowns are small. Could be the mysis are too big for them?

it takes a while for clowns to settle in especially if they are small. sustainable aquatics hatchery diet worked for mine. no one can resist that.

Probably too big for them. I'd go with something like Reef Frenzy if you want frozen or flakes/pellets for dry options.

Or chop up the mysis first, but that's kind of a pain.
