I have a new coral only QT tank cycled and putting some corals in it later this month after a frag show (coral only, nothing else in the tank).

I did the tims fishless method, and used the ammonia to feed the bacteria. And I Know that the next step is to get a fish, to feed the bacteria.

But since there are no fish, what should I use to feed the bacteria? Should I ghost feed?

does a coral only tank need to be cycled? since the cycles is done to grow a bacteria population to handle ammonia, does a ammonia affect corals?

hmm...thats a valid point. I assumed I needed to.....so I did.

Dosing nitrate and phos should be a good choice, no added extras but only what you need
