Just started feeding Brightwell Aquatics Microvore tonight. It is an encapsulated high protein that touts no need for refrigeration. I elected to broadcast feed to cover both fish and corals 5ml. I found the particles were not large enough for feeding the fish. I had to break out the fish flake anyway. The liquid was pink and watery and clouded the tank for several minutes. I did notice open mouths and extension on almost all my corals. They looked to be feeding well, especially the acans, blastos, and trumpets. The bubble also seemed to like it. This will be an overtime post to see if there is noticeable benefits in color and growth. I will spot feed next time in order to better focus feeding and reduce waste.

Sounds like they were attracted to it for a feeding response. Let us know how it goes and if you get any negative impact such as algae blooms.

I have used Microvore and have had several friends use it. Like most foods, you see great reaction when broadcast feeding and spot feeding. I decided to stop using after a few bottles, I decided to add to my food mix when blending and freezing but just got expensive. From experience all Brightwell products are great so don't have anything bad to say.

One of my all time favorite foods for coral would have to be reef chili, got a sample at MACNA and haven't switched since.

Thanks for the input, I really don't like feeding where the food is not totally consumed so I will be keeping a close eye for higher nitrates. I heard nothing but good things from ReefChili so its on the list. Right now at 2ml it will take 125 feedings or ruffly 9 months to use it up.

No doubt, definitely don't want to over feed Microvore considering it so high in content. I would suggest throwing maybe about 2ml to get feeding response from the corals and then spot feed.

Monster extension from the Acan. So a couple of drops of Microvore to illicit a response and then a spot feed.
