feeding corals

is feeding your corals too much a bad thing if you can keep nitrates and phosphates in check?
 
Corals digest slowly, so if you're giving large meals, it would be possible to give them more food before they can digest the prior meal fully. I know anemones can have this happen sometimes- if you feed them too large of an item, or large items too often, the food can rot in their gut. But beyond that, I don't think you can really overfeed corals. It's not like they get fat.
