Feeding corals

I’ve been having problems with coral spreading and I’m not sure if I should feed them everyday or not

Red Sea Trace elements and AB+ daily as recommend. I Never have an issue with number spikes using it. I've tried roids reef chili etc. They are all good but the ab+ seems a cleaner way to feed. For meat corals I use coral frenzy once a week. My corals are all over place when they are opened and closed. I don't worry about it. As long as they look healthy I'm happy.

Do you turn off skimmer when using AB+?

If I remember to. But if I don't it doesn't cause any problems. That's one thing I noticed with the powdered stuff. I felt like I was wasting money using it because the majority of it ended up in the filtration. The AB+ being liquid stays in the water alot longer.

I use RedSea AB+ plus Nyos Absolute Aminos daily. Reef Roids and Nyos Coral Nectar twice a week. And yes, I do turn both my simmer and pumps off for about 25min when feeding Reef Roids (automated through my Apex setup).

What corals are not spreading?
Some lps corals need to be fed once a week.
I do not feed corals in my sps system.
If you have enough fish and feed heavy you do not need to feed the corals.

I only have softies and one trumpet coral
And my gsp isn’t spreading which is surprising
