I'm considering purchasing a Green Dragonet. I've got plenty of copepods in my display tank, but will likely have to supplement once the Dragonet is in it.

The question that I have is if the Dragonet I get is a picky eater and really only accepts copepods, how do I feed him in the QT?

Thanks!

Best bet would be to do TTM to eliminate ich and do a black molly test in quarantine after moving the mandarin from TTM into observation. All the while, you'd be supplementing 1,000+ pods daily. The things we do for this hobby!!!

Keep in mind, even if your dragonet isn't a picky eater, only having a frozen meal once or twice daily is not sufficient to sustain the fish given their digestive track is short given their evolution to eat crustaceans all day long. Plan on pods and supplement with newly hatched brine if needed.
