For those of you who have eels how often are you feeding them? I have a snowflake and I’ve found myself feeding him everyday. He comes all the way out from under the rocks begging to be fed like he is starving every time he hears the lid open. He gets cut up squid and oysters mainly. Occasionally krill.

Be careful not to overfeed it, sometimes eels can become obese if they eat too often. @Fishnut's schedule is just about perfect, though of course it depends on the eel itself. Essentially, when you see it hunting, feed it.
He had been staying under the rocks but lately he just seems like he wants to eat all the time and I’ve found myself feeding him every day. I am going to try to cut back and get him on a schedule. He has grown a lot since I got him in May. I swear he begs like a dog!

We have a 4+ foot Tess. We feed it every 3rd day.
Cheers! Mark
Here he is getting a dental cleaning from his lil pal the cleaner shrimp

Mine has a Domino that he is friends with who is more like the tank bully! I keep telling him that Bob is going to get big enough to eat him (can only hope!)
