Feeding enough or too little?

I feed my fish as best I am able to how they would feed on the reef. Regular small feeds throughout the day and mainly feeding the kinds of foods they would encounter. again as much as is reasonably possible for me and for me that is what is important and helps my fish stay healthy along with maintaining a strong immune system.

Good thread.

I found that when maintaining a healthy bacteria and micro fauna population its more important to have a consistent feeding regiment, rather than an on and off again approach which is what I was doing. So I went with an auto feeder by Eheim. It works like a champ once you get the adjustment right and the correct micron food. For me it was Reefroids and decapsulated brine fed 3 times a day to a 300 gallon system.
