Well I dropped some Flake food in my sump near the pump return. I loved the way it went into the tank and dispersed itself. I setup a auto-feeder to dump the flake into my sump. Worked out good. The only problem I am seeing is the excess which will be easy to cleanup on a daily basis just by stirring the bottom of the sump near the inlet. Would there be a way to help the food sink??? Now it floats for a while and then sinks. Was trying to think of a way to have the food channeled down to where the pump intake is. Could I hook up a piece of PVC that is directed towards the inlet of the pump? Any other suggestions?

One of the floating feeding rings would help dictate where the flake sinks... Or you could get an acrylic tube that the food falls into, make sure it's near the intake of your pump, and then cut out an area in the tub near the intake.

That is what I need to do. Will work out really good too because I plan on doing a Carbon Reactor DIY from some part I found at Menards. This should work pretty darn good!
