I have two small clowns. I bought PE Mysis but it's too big for them to eat. So I went out and bought some small flake food. I put in a little at a time and they go crazy eating it. They swim around the top looking for more so I give them more and then 80% of that falls to the bottom. But they still swim at the top looking for more. Should I feed more often but just not as much each time? I don't want to under feed them. They're eating what I have so I know they like it ok.

Fish are pigs they will eat untill they pop. Only feed enough so they consume it in 2-3 minutes and you don't want any hitting the bottom. You can also feed twice a day a little at a time. If you overfeed you will have problems with your water parameters.

So why do they let it fall past them but keep swimming at the top like they're hungry? They eat every flake when I first put some in. Stay at the top so I give more and they just let 80% of fall but continue to swim at the top.
