Probably I’d feed like every day or every other day market shrimp clams and frozen stuff and if you want like ghost shrimp and mabye feeder guppies Or mollies. Livebearers And silversides are the best feeders

so feeding the rectangle humu triggerfish 2-3 times daily for 2-3 minutes, but i read that puffers need to eat hard food to wear down their teeth. Would it be ok to feed it the predator only rods food?

Mine pecks at the rock or crunchs hard shells yes. You will hear it when they chomp or bite down on things.
Mine pecked at live shrimo too from flordia. Live feeder shrimp.
Dosent need to be all the time. Just occasionally. The hard foods or shelled food.

These are eating machines and need meaty foods:

Krill
LRS Fish frenzy
Rods original formula
clams on 1/2 shell
Mussel
mysis shrimp

They are deff a porky piggy predator fish like vette says. They dont eat the rock. Just peck and scrape it.
Between feedings the fish will be roaming doing this. Hths
