New to saltwater aquariums and currently in the process of setting up my first system. From what I see in the posts, the feeding requirements (frozen, flake, pellets, etc...) is different for each type of fish and coral. Are there any links, resources, websites, R2R articles, etc... that you would recommend I take a look at to get a better handle on the nutritional needs for my future tank inhabitants?

I'm expecting to have my tank up and cycling in a couple of weeks! I'm going to have some downtime for the next 4-6 weeks, but may go ahead and get that "first" fish to have in quarantine during that cycling time so he/she is ready for their new home!

Live Aquaria usually has decent information on fish and what type of foods they eat. Regardless if they are herbivores not, get a good quality of food. I personally feed my fish LRS and feed my coral Reef Roids , both have done really well in my system. However I will say, I always feed less then recommended. Makes tank maintenance easier and keeps nitrates and phosphates in check (I feed algae sheets 4 items a week, and frozen/reefroids every other day). Good Luck!

Thanks for the info! I'll take a look at Live Aquaria and the other sites.

Might find this interesting: http://www.melevsreef.com/feedings.html

And, I would ask LFS to feed animals with what they normally use while you watch before you buy them

Here is something for you link

Thanks... that was a very informative video!

I feed the frozen and nori, that is it for the past two years.
