This question isn't related to fish directly, so this might be in the wrong place, but it ultimately comes around to fish disease prevention. If I'm wrong, #modsquad please move.
I started up a 5g QT for a couple of emeralds and a couple of pep shrimp the other day. 76 day countdown is under way (is it April 13 yet!?). While in QT, I'd like to feed the emeralds bubble algae from my DT and maybe some of the anemone-like pests for my peppermint shrimp. My question is, does this violate my QT process?
I could be introducing something from my DT into the QT, but ultimately that's going to happen anyway once I transfer them. I can't think of a good reason not to do this, but I could be missing a big one
