Feeding Live Oyster

I tried preparing live oyster today to feed fish, and it could have been better. How do you cut it up so that it is easy to eat? I ended up with some pieces that were clumpy or stingy still, and some of it wanted to drop straight to the bottom. My clowns seemed to go crazy for it, but im not sure how much they actually got. My duncan got a decent sized piece that I could not get back, ha!

Basically, is it easier if frozen first; should I just try to mince it?

Definitely easier to cut up frozen. With other options available, such as mussel, squid and clam, that are already minced up, why go through the trouble of feeding oyster?
 
I was recommended to feed live clams, only found oyster. I didnt use prepared food because I was recommended to use "live." I'm glad frozen should be easier, and will consider something prepared too. Thanks for the suggestion.

For live clams/mussels, I just shuck, cut into chunks, and freeze.
Then I just chop up a frozen chunk to feed.
*did oyster ONCE but seemed pretty messy so haven't bothered again.
